The Delta Sigma Sigma (DSS) Alumnae Chapter was chartered on April 24, 1976 by:

Delta Sigma Sigma was the first alumnae chapter organized in Greensboro, NC.
The Chapter currently advises the Gamma Chapter at North Carolina A&T State University, the Nu Nu Chapter at Bennett College, the Omicron Eta Chapter at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the Omicron Upsilon Chapter at Elon University.
1993
DSS charted the Nu Nu Chapter at Bennett College on September 25, 1993.
2020
DSS was recognized as a Ruby Chapter, a Membership Grant recipient, and awarded the Mary Lou Allison Loving Cup at the 78th Northeastern Regional Conference.
2021
DSS reactivated the Nu Nu Chapter at Bennett College on March 7, 2021 and inducted its first Regional Undergraduate (Greensboro College).
2022
DSS reactivated the Omicron Eta Chapter at University of North Carolina at Greensboro on March 4, 2022.
