What is the benefit of participating in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority’s Rhoyal Ball?
The Rhoyal Ball is designed to empower young women and collegiate members to embrace confidence, leadership, and service while celebrating the accomplishments of our sisters. This experience provides each Rhoyal with a platform to serve as an ambassador while showcasing excellence, integrity, scholarship, and community involvement. The Rhoyal Ball honors our legacy, embraces sisterhood, and carries the torch of service, progress, and leadership for generations to come.
What are the out-of-pocket costs?
Participants are responsible for purchasing their gown and interview attire. Once accepted into the program, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority will provide the black outfit required for participation. Participants are encouraged to seek sponsors to assist with expenses, and sponsors may be recognized in the event ad pamphlet. Overall out-of-pocket costs will vary based on personal selections and sponsorship support.
What are the time commitments for the Rhoyal Ball?
Participants are expected to attend all rehearsals during the week leading up to the event unless an exceptional circumstance arises. Attendance is important to ensure the success and quality of the program.
For participants involved in the Father/Significant Other Daughter Dance, attendance at the two scheduled rehearsals and the event itself is required.
What attire is required to attend the event?
The attire for the Rhoyal Ball is formal wear. Guests and participants are encouraged to dress elegantly and appropriately for the occasion.
