SIGMA GAMMA RHO COLLECTING TRAVEL-SIZED ITEMS FOR THE LOCAL HOMELESS AND TRANSITIONAL POPULATION

Greensboro, NC February 4, 2021 - Delta Sigma Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is collecting travel-sized items for “I Care Kits” for the local homeless and transitional population in Greensboro, North Carolina. The “I Care Kits” community service project is designed to provide essential items to those in homeless shelters or transitional housing to maintain general hygiene needs. Collection dates are February 7-26, 2021. 


If you wish to donate, the sorority is collecting the following items in travel-sized containers: toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, feminine hygiene products, wet wipes, single-serve snacks, and socks (adult sizes). Additionally, monetary donations may be made to Delta Sigma Sigma via CashApp $DSSSGR and PayPal (friends and family) greensborosgrho@gmail.com. All cash proceeds will be used to purchase necessities.
